Thanks for posting these -- it's good to bring to light what's on the minds of some of the electorate. I wonder if the people who wrote these ballots ever expected anyone besides the count-ers to see them. A more interesting choice than simply not going to vote.

DO LIBERIANS KNOW THAT ELECTION BALLOTS ARE LIKE A PASSPORTS WHICH ARE NOT BE ALTERED IN ANYWAY? I THINK THE EDUCATION MINISTRY SHOULD IMPLEMENT SOME KIND OF A PROCEDURE TO TEACH LIBERIANS IN SCHOOL ABOUT ELECTION BALLOTING. MAYBE THAT WILL HELP THOSE WHO ARE INNOCENT OF SUCH PROCEDURE.

Glenda, I am Liberian living in Washington, DC. I've not been back to Liberia since 1990 but I read just about everything I can find on, about and related to Liberia. Though I'v lived more than half of my life in the US, Liberia is still IT for me. I am saddened by the chaos during recent run off election. I am elated by folks like you who take the time to travel to inconvenient locations in search of truth. THANKS. Please continue your wonderful photojournalism and coverage of places and things African.

By publicly displaying these nasties, the perpetrator just won, once again the media has condoned and heartlessly displayed some nonsense, which could stir up more chaos and might significantly anger fellow Liberians who are eager to exhibit their fustrations and erupt other meaningless confusion. Your insensive untimingly publicity for a country's fragile citicens, is inappropriate, therefore I would remove it for the moment until things calm down. Perhaps one day, one can sit down over a drink with their worst enemy and have a good laugh over petty issues which once seemed a taboo.

Oh my God! Where are we going Liberians?
Imagine this was your mother that was being abused like this . May God not forgive this person who insulted the president like this.

As a Liberian, you have your right to vote or not to vote, calling people "dogs" and hero" does not offer well for our emerging democracy. The only thing or property that we can boast of is Liberia and nothing more or less. Let us all put our political differences aside and aim at a brighter and democratic Liberia for our born and unborn generation.

I am in tears for this that I have seen from Liberians. May God take his own action!
