I’ve wanted to go to Lagos for years but haven’t really had a chance. Tomorrow, I head there for the Lagos Photography Festival. I’m honored to have my work on aging in Sierra Leone shown among so many other amazing photographers, and hope the old folks at King George’s will too.
And no matter how confident I am in the folks at the Nigerian consulate in New York who helped me out with my visa, it’s hard not too feel nervous about sending money to the Nigerian government over the internet for payment of said visa. It all went well, and hopefully Lagos will too.

Wow Glenda,
your work is amazing! I saw your pictures Saturday at the Lagos Photo Festival and I’m now looking at your other projects… stunning…
I love your eye on humanity … it seems to me that people really let themselves go with you… without fear or barriers…and your camera is bringing us their feelings…
I fell in love with the portrait of Isatu Kanu… and Charles Doe…
now the question is… do you also sell your images to private clients?
Thanks
Margherita
(I am in Lagos, I work here … unfortunately business, but with a passion for photography, just not talented and brave enough… lol…I would love to meet you if you are still around!)
Cheers

Hi Margherita,
I’m so sorry I didn’t get a chance to meet you while I was in Lagos! It was a whirlwind trip, to say the least… I hope to be back one of these days sooner than later though.
In the meantime if you’re interested in a print, send me an email to glennagordon at gmail dot com and let me know what you had in mind.
Thanks for the kind words about my work too
Glenna
